How Eat Sunny Works

From our customers

"OBSESSED!! Eat Sunny RULES!!! It’s delicious, vibrant, packed with immunity and glowy skin boosting ingredients, and it was created by three women—love that."

— Megan

“I was never a healthy eater because I didn’t know how to put the meals together in a way that would actually taste good. While other meal plans (and I’ve tried many) involve you chopping, prepping, cooking, etc and/or are frozen and usually bland, when I heard about eat sunny I realized this was my chance to easily transition! It was done for me, which, as a New Yorker with a tiny kitchen and no love for cooking, I love that each meal is ready to go, all fresh and not frozen and, most of all, absolutely delicious!”

— Alix

“Eat Sunny gave me a much needed alternative to cooking during quarantine. Every meal is packed with all the nutrients I needed throughout the day to stay energized and satiated, making it much easier for me to eat healthy without the added stress of meal planning.”

— Lia Bartha

Common Questions

Where do you deliver?

New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Let us know if you’re interested in us bringing Eat Sunny to your city or workplace (we cater!) at

How are you different?

We think about food differently. Our meals are thoughtfully conceived to be delicious, satisfying and macronutrient balanced. There are three elements to how we approach formulating each meal:

  1. We follow a Mediterranean diet approach to nutrition, so that with every meal you get the right mix and amount of carbs, proteins and fats. When these elements of your diet are in balance, you feel sustained levels of energy throughout the day and improve your overall wellbeing over the long term. No unsustainable fad diets, no meals that leave you wanting more.
  2. Each ingredient is selected thoughtfully to maximize your intake of antioxidants (Vitamins A, C and E) and key minerals that help support your immune system and energy metabolism. We use hydrating, fiber-rich vegetables and slow-digesting whole grains in their most unprocessed, wholesome state to keep you satisfied. Additionally, pre and probiotics are included whenever possible to help give your gut — and mood and immunity — a boost.
  3. Last, we layer in skin-boosting superfoods like collagen and biotin powders, hemp and flax seeds, goji berries and algae, plus adaptogenic powders to support your adrenal system — anything we can find to optimize the way you look and feel. Let us scour the world for the best-for-you ingredients and keep up to date on the latest nutrition news, so all you have to do is heat and eat.
I don’t have to cook anything?

No cooking. Just heat and eat, or dress your salads with our beauty-boosting dressings before enjoying. That’s it.

Do i have to choose my meals every week?

Nope. Each week we’ll send you meals based on your food preferences (vegetarian or not). It’s that simple.

But is it tasty?

Yes. What's the point if it isn't? Our meals are created by Chef Allan Wyse, a private chef who has cooked in the homes of celebrities and Fortune 500 CEOs and in the kitchens of top restaurants, including Daniel and The Modern in NYC. Thanks to Allan and Lucy Puca, the head of the kitchen where your meals and snacks are lovingly and carefully prepared, Eating Sunny means to eat healthfully but also deliciously. When we say food that checks ALL the boxes, we mean all the boxes, including delicious taste. We want your experience with our service to be wonderful from start to finish, so please let us know if there's an entree or snack you love or if there's one you think could be improved at

How many calories are the meals?

Our meals generally fall between 300 and 400 calories, some slightly less, some slightly more. A day's worth of food on our plan, which included three meals and a snack per day, is about 1400 calories.

“If you live for food like I do, you’ll also be obsessed with the creamy cauliflower risotto, saucy Moroccan quinoa chicken, chickpea-flour chocolate chip cookies, and eggplant balls that are on the menu at Eat Sunny, a new meal delivery service. The dishes are vibrant, filled with great-for-you ingredients (alllll the antioxidants, omegas, and heaps of fresh veggies for glowy skin)... —they’re fire.”

“ I jumped at the chance to take a break from the constant cooking I’ve been doing in lockdown, but each dish proved to be beyond my expectations and more wildly delicious than the next.”

(A LOT).
